Each year, Newcomers works with local charities or organizations in need. We may make a monetary donation or our members may volunteer their time at one of these organizations.
This organization is focused on the rapid re-housing, rehabilitation and development of former prisoners, homeless men, addicts and anyone starting over. Exodus Place creates a sense of community, restores dignity and helps to remove the obstacles that prevent men from contributing to society. AYA Youth Collective is an organization that creates communities through a sense of belonging, to youth experiencing instability to their own futures. Their vision is a society where all youth have support, stable housing and belonging. They provide housing, instruction in life skills, a pathway to education and employment and much more to at-risk youth. Their Drop-In Center is a resource for youth 14-24 experiencing a housing crisis, homelessness or who just need basic resources and a place to be loved and accepted as they are.
